West Coast Railways require two additional engineers to join it's Carnforth based team maintaining the company's fleet of diesel and electric locomotives.
The role includes all aspects of service, repair and modification of class 08, 33, 37, 43, 47, 57 and 86 locomotives in accordance with instructions in the maintenance policy documents. Person required;
The successful applicants should have some proven mechanical experience, some railway specific experience would be an advantage but not essential as railway and locomotive training will be given to the successful candidates.
The role is based at Carnforth railway depot, however due to operational requirements some off site work may be required on occasion.
