Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Skilled Labourer with multi-trade expertise to join our team, specializing in traditional and sandstone building projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on heritage restoration, masonry, and construction projects that require a broad skill set and a passion for craftsmanship. Duties
- Perform diverse construction tasks including carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, and painting to support heritage building projects
- Assist with the fabrication and installation of sandstone and traditional building materials with attention to detail
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks
- Conduct minor welding and electrical work as needed within project scope
- Support roofing activities by installing or repairing traditional roofing systems using appropriate techniques
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while adhering to safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, including proper storage of tools and materials
Experience
- Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, or construction painting
- Demonstrated ability to work on heritage or sandstone buildings is highly desirable
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, and basic welding techniques
- Familiarity with electrical systems and plumbing installations within construction settings
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project specifications accurately
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites and heritage restoration projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting on-site challenges

Pay: £12.71-£16.82 per hour
