We provide supported accommodation for young people and Adults, and are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and caring individual to join our small team on a casual basis.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and would like flexible work. Full training and support will be provided. Main Responsibilities
- Cover support shifts as required.
- Undertake sleep-in duties when needed.
- Attend meetings and take notes.
- Assist with paperwork, audits and administration.
- Carry out property checks.
- Support young people with day-to-day wellbeing.
- Shopping and errands when required.
- Chat with residents and provide welfare support.
- Light cleaning of communal areas including kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms.
- Provide occasional emergency cover.
- Assist management with general tasks as required.
Hours
- Casual / bank basis.
- No guaranteed hours.
- Work offered as and when required.
- Flexibility to accept or decline shifts.
- Evening, weekend and sleep-in work available.
Pay
- £12.21–£13.00 per hour depending on experience.
- Sleep-in allowance: £50 per night.
- Any active overnight work paid separately.
- Example sleep-in:
- Arrive 9:30 pm.
- One hour active support (cleaning communal areas, welfare chats with residents, general checks).
- Sleep from approximately 10:30 pm until 7:00 am.
- Receive £13 for the active hour plus £50 sleep-in allowance.

- Driver with access to a car preferred but not essential.
Essential Requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to complete training.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable
- Previous experience in care, support work, housing, youth work or community services.
- Experience working with young people.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 Health & Social Care (desirable, not essential).
