We are looking for a reliable, independent, and hardworking Pallet Repairer to join our team. This role suits someone with a strong work ethic, a professional attitude, and the ability to respond quickly and responsibly to customer needs. You’ll play a key part in ensuring pallets are repaired to a high standard and sorted correctly.
Responsibilities:
- Repair wooden pallets to required specifications
- Sort pallets by size, condition, and customer requirements
- Ensure all repaired pallets meet quality and safety standards
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Identify and solve problems on the spot
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly
- Follow all PPE, Health & Safety, and site procedures
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and supervisors
- Diagnose and repair pallets - Full training will be given.
- Repair and sort pallets - Full training will be given.
- Ability to work independently and work within a team environment
- Use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure pallet areas are kept clean and tidy this includes the picking up and safe disposal of any bits of wood/blocks, cardboard, shrink wrap and any other debris.
Skills & Experience
- Pallet repair experience preferred but not essential
- Forklift licence preferred but not essential
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
- Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
Language:
- fluent English (required)
Licence/Certification:
- counter balance fork lift licence (preferred but not essential)
- Drivers License (preferred but not essential)
