Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Make-up Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for teaching and a strong understanding of beauty techniques, with the ability to inspire and educate students of varying skill levels. This role offers an exciting opportunity to share expertise in make-up artistry, develop organisational skills, and contribute to the growth of aspiring beauty professionals. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a keen interest in education and beauty industry standards.
Availability:
Must be available wednesday or friday for 26 weeks 9am - 5pm
Must have qualifications:
- Level 3 diploma in make up artistry
- Teaching qualification
- Assessors qualification
Duties
- Deliver engaging and informative make-up tutorials tailored to individual student needs
- Develop customised lesson plans covering various make-up styles, techniques, colour matching, and product application
- Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills
- Maintain a well-organised schedule of classes and workshops
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and products in the beauty industry
- Ensure all training sessions are conducted in a professional and supportive environment
- Utilise IT tools effectively for presentations, demonstrations, and student assessments
- Communicate clearly with students to foster a positive learning atmosphere
- Organise resources and materials required for each session efficiently
Experience
- Proven experience in make-up artistry or related beauty fields is essential
- Prior teaching or training experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively convey techniques and concepts
- Organisational skills are vital for managing schedules, resources, and student progress records
- Knowledge of plumbing or IT skills may be advantageous but are not essential for this role
Teaching qualification (any of the following):
- Level 3/4/5 Award/Certificate/Diploma in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTTLS/CTTLS/DTTLS)
- Level 3/4/5 Diploma in Education and Training or Certificate in Education
Assessor qualification (any of the following):
- Level 3 Awards/Certificates in Assessment (QCF), A1 (D32/D33)
- Eligible to work in the UK; DBS check may be required

Pay: £140.00-£150.00 per day
