Property Care & Maintenance Technician
Location: Llangefni, Anglesey (working across our portfolio of holiday homes)
Starting Rate: £14.65 per hour
Hours: Flexible (typically 20-30 hours per week), with overtime and additional contract work available.
We're expanding our Maintenance Department. As Anglesey Holiday Lettings continues to grow, so does our Maintenance Department. We're looking for another practical, reliable and hands-on person to join our in-house team. This isn't your typical maintenance role. You'll be helping to care for a select portfolio of holiday homes across Anglesey, where the quality of every repair directly affects our guests' holidays and protects our owners' investment. No two days are ever the same. One day you might be repairing a gate, replacing a tap or fitting a new appliance. The next, you'll be carrying out preventative maintenance, preparing a property for arriving guests or helping our Caretaking team keep everything running smoothly. If you're someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in doing a job properly and likes solving problems, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role: You'll be involved in a wide variety of tasks including:
- General property repairs and maintenance
- Basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry work
- Diagnosing faults and finding practical solutions
- Preventative maintenance to keep properties in excellent condition
- Supporting our Caretaking team during holiday cover
- Working closely with our Housekeeping, Guest Services and wider Operations team
Who We're Looking For: We're more interested in attitude than qualifications. Whether you've worked in building, mechanics, engineering, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry or another practical trade, we'd like to hear from you. If you're practical, reliable, willing to learn and enjoy turning your hand to different jobs, you'll fit in well.
You'll need to:
- Take pride in your work
- Be organised and dependable
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Be entitled to work in the UK
- Live on the Isle of Anglesey, as occasional out-of-hours emergency call-outs may be required.
Hours: Hours will be agreed with the successful candidate and are expected to be between 20 and 30 hours per week.
There are regular opportunities for overtime and additional contract work throughout the year.
Availability on Fridays and Saturdays is essential, as these are our busiest operational days.
