Required to enhance and enrich the lives of our service users, will need to have relevant experience within an elderly care setting of at least 2 years, applicants with recognised accreditations/qualifications within health and social care desirable, must be imaginative, organised and have experience in the use of socially inclusive technology.
Excellent communication skills is a must for this exciting role within our home, record keeping skills and policy and procedure compliance is a must.
The successful applicant will be responsible for promoting resident social inclusion as part of a group and as specifically appointed individuals one-one time.
The successful applicant will be responsible for tailoring all activities to meet the needs of individuals as well as being confident to include residents families/friends/advocates in discussions/meetings and activities .
This role will be ideally suited to applicants that are confident, calm and friendly with a positive attitude towards facing diversities within the setting.
The successful applicant will be responsible for budget management, sourcing and planning external entertainment.
The successful applicant will be accountable to the homes manager.
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
