We also deliver postgraduate education for qualified osteopaths, helping to develop the next generation of paediatric specialists.
We're looking for an organised, proactive and adaptable Office Administrator to join our friendly team on a 6-month maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy charity where no two days are the same.
About the Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the office while supporting several areas of the organisation, including administration, education, HR and finance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day administration of the office.
- Supporting the administration of our postgraduate education programmes.
- Maintaining student records and preparing course materials.
- Providing HR administration, including recruitment support, onboarding, DBS checks, Right to Work documentation, staff records and annual leave records.
- Supporting finance administration, including processing invoices, maintaining financial records and preparing documentation for the finance team.
- Preparing letters, reports, presentations and meeting papers.
- Maintaining electronic filing systems and organisational databases.
- Responding to telephone and email enquiries professionally.
- Ordering office supplies and ensuring the office is well organised.
- Providing administrative support for meetings, projects and charity events.
- Assisting with other administrative duties as required.
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of your work and enjoys supporting others.
You'll have:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- A positive, flexible and professional approach.
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Experience in HR administration, finance administration, healthcare, education or the charity sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
