Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV C+E Day Container Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a C+E licence for a minimum of 12 months and its all outbased work running to various port / docks. This role requires a commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service as you transport goods efficiently and effectively and any previous container experience with knowledge of twist locks or any port experience is advantageous. Work is all on a Monday to Friday basis and is long term ongoing work guaranteed 5 shifts per week. This position also offers some optional start times to be discussed driving a decent fleet of vehicles.
Duties
- Operate Container vehicles with twist locks going to various docks and ports on a semi distance basis. Average 1 to 2 drops per shift
- to ensure paperwork is scanned on terminal for return trailers
Experience
- Proven experience as a Driver, any container experience a distinct advantage
- A valid driving licence C+E must be held for a minimum of 12 months
- A maximum of 3 points on licence for insurance cover
- Valid Digital Tacho card
- Valid CPC Card
Rate
- £18.77 to £22.75 per Hour
