Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Laptop/Mobile Phone/Electronics Technician to join our dynamic technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electronic devices, including laptops, mobile phones, and other consumer electronics. Duties
- Diagnose hardware and software issues on laptops, mobile phones, and electronic equipment.
- Perform repairs on computer hardware components such as motherboards, processors, memory modules, and storage devices
- Utilize hand tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble electronic devices with precision
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting for computer networking equipment and peripherals
- Follow detailed schematics and technical diagrams to identify faulty components or wiring issues
- Test repaired devices thoroughly to ensure optimal functionality before returning them to customers or storage
- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed, parts used, and service details for quality assurance
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge of electronic devices and their internal components
- Hands-on experience with hand tools used in electronics repair such as screwdrivers, pliers, soldering irons, etc.
- Solid understanding of computer hardware assembly, disassembly, and repair techniques
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams accurately
- Experience with computer repair including troubleshooting operating systems and software issues
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for electronic equipment and peripherals
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts relevant to device connectivity and troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing faults and performing repairs
