Good, we're building something big in the UK & Ireland – and we're looking for an experienced Bid Manager to help secure new business opportunities across the public and private sectors.

Following the launch of our UK operation in 2024, we're continuing to invest heavily across our IoT portfolio. This newly created role will play a key part in supporting our continued growth by leading high-quality tender submissions, supporting strategic framework opportunities, and helping position Teltonika as a trusted technology partner across the UK and Ireland.

In this role, you will:
Tender & Bid Management:
-
Own the end-to-end bid lifecycle for public and private tenders, from opportunity qualification through to submission and post-submission clarifications.
- Identify and track relevant opportunities via UK and Ireland procurement portals, frameworks, and direct buyer engagement.
- Lead bid kick-off sessions and coordinate inputs across Sales, Technical, Legal, Operations, Finance, and external partners.
- Produce clear, compelling, and compliant tender responses, ensuring alignment with evaluation criteria and scoring methodologies.
- Manage bid timelines, compliance matrices, version control, and governance approvals.
Public Sector & Compliance:

Ensure full compliance with UK and Ireland public procurement regulations, including (but not limited to):
- PCR / UK Procurement Act requirements
- Framework agreements and DPS procedures
- Freedom of Information (FOI), GDPR, and data security obligations
- Interpret tender documentation, contracts, and schedules, identifying risks and compliance gaps early.
- Coordinate clarifications, negotiation responses, and contract award documentation.
Technical & Commercial Positioning:
- Translate complex IoT hardware capabilities into customer-focused value propositions aligned to sector-specific needs.
- Work closely with Technical and Product teams to ensure accurate responses covering:
- Network routers, switches, and IoT gateways
- Vehicle telematics devices and asset trackers
- EV chargers (residential and commercial)
- Wearable medical devices
- Property and vehicle alarm systems
- Support pricing strategy development, cost modelling, and margin protection.
- Contribute to bid win themes, differentiators, and innovation responses.
Market & Sector Coverage:

Support tenders across all relevant market verticals, including (but not limited to):
- Local and central government
- Transport and logistics
- Automotive and fleet management
- Healthcare and assisted living
- Energy, EV infrastructure, and utilities
- Construction and smart property
- Retail, manufacturing, and critical infrastructure
- Maintain awareness of market trends, buyer priorities, and emerging IoT-driven opportunities.
Continuous Improvement:

Maintain a bid library of reusable content, case studies, technical responses, and policies.
- Capture and analyse bid feedback to improve win rates.
- Contribute to improvements in bid processes, tools, and governance.
- Support framework onboarding and re-tender activity.
What we expect of you:

APMP certification or equivalent bid management training
-
Demonstrable success submitting winning bids for structured tenders
- Experience working with multi‑lot, multi‑product, or multi‑supplier tenders

Proven experience managing public and/or private sector tenders in the UK and/or Ireland

Experience working with or bidding for technology or hardware‑led solutions, ideally within IoT, telecoms, or connected devices

Strong understanding of formal procurement processes, evaluation methodologies, and compliance requirements

Ability to structure and write clear, persuasive bid responses under deadline pressure

Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional coordination skills

Strong attention to detail and document management discipline

Commercial awareness and ability to balance compliance with competitiveness

Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to non‑technical evaluators

Familiarity with security, data protection, and interoperability requirements in connected systems
