Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Waitress/Bartender to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and take their orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with licensing laws and safety standards
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including tables, bar counters, and workstations
- Handle cash and card transactions efficiently, maintaining accurate records of sales
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring a tidy environment at all times
- Respond promptly to guest enquiries or complaints, resolving issues professionally and courteously
- Follow food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards throughout service
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant roles is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and licensing laws
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and cash transactions accurately
- Effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Personal presentation that reflects professionalism and hospitality standards
