Job Description:
The Play Professionals have been providing out-of-school children’s services since 1995, giving us an advantage in responding to children’s needs. We meet and exceed Ofsted standards, ensuring satisfied and loyal service users. All our staff members are fully qualified to national standards, enabling them to effectively respond to children’s changing needs.
You’ll deliver play opportunities, run daily educational or recreational activities, and ensure children’s safety and happiness during their visits. You’ll work as part of the local team, supporting the organisation and colleagues in managing the scheme effectively.
Essential Criteria
o One Year experience of working with children as a minimum
o Knowledge of EYFS
o Knowledge of Safeguarding
Hours:
- Starting in September
- Term Time: 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM
- Playworker: 10/pw (incluiding travel expenses)
- Additional hours during School Holidays and After School Club available.

All staff are expected to share the company’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful candidate will undergo an enhanced DBS check, verification of identity and right to work, a full employment history check and explanation of any gaps, two verified references, and mandatory training before starting.
