Stratford Park Hotel is looking for an experienced, Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operation of the housekeeping department and maintain high standards across all areas of the hotel.
This role is hands-on and requires active involvement in cleaning duties when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the housekeeping team on a daily basis
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas
- Be hands-on and support the team with cleaning tasks as required
- Create staff rotas and manage staffing levels
- Carry out room and area inspections
- Manage linen, stock control, and ordering
- Ensure health & safety and hygiene standards are met
- Work closely with reception and maintenance teams
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ housekeeping experience in a hotel environment
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- Hands-on approach and ability to lead by example
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Flexible availability, including weekends
- Right to work in the UK
