Located in the heart of Liverpool’s iconic Royal Albert Dock, The One O'Clock Gun is a lively, atmosphere-led pub celebrating the best of British hospitality. We are looking for an experienced General Manager to step in and lead the team to help create unforgettable experiences.
QVO Hospitality is a growing hospitality group founded in 2014. The group’s portfolio includes Maray Restaurants, The One O’Clock Gun, Buyers Club and Cafe Barbette.
They are responsible for the overall performance and smooth operation of one of QVO Hospitality’s venues. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing service standards, managing the front-of-house team, and ensuring an excellent guest experience at all times. We are looking for an ambitious, charismatic General Manager to grow a brand with great potential. Whether that means expanding our event programming, refining our food & beverage offerings, optimizing profitability, or scaling the concept in the future, we want a GM who brings big ideas, commercial sharp-mindedness, and genuine warmth to the floor.

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated experience in hospitality or restaurant management, with responsibility for day-to-day venue operations and team leadership.
- Strong people management skills, including staff training, performance coaching, and building an inclusive, high-performing team culture.
- Proficiency in financial and commercial management, including budgeting, cost control, and interpreting sales and performance reports.
- Excellent guest service and communication skills, with the ability to manage guest feedback and maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Solid understanding of health, safety, and licensing regulations relevant to hospitality operations.
- Ability to work on-site in Liverpool, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and hands-on approach to operational challenges.
- Experience working within multi-venue or group hospitality environments is beneficial.
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality management, business, or a related field are an advantage but not mandatory.
