Overview
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, working with kitchen staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for food, and hospitality to showcase their culinary expertise in a fast-paced environment. As part of our team our menu will be breakfast and brunch style food, Sunday lunch, and where we are our busiest is with our functions for weddings and parties.
A strong focus on food safety, team management, and exceptional service delivery is essential to excel in this position.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and quality across all menu items
- Manage food safety protocols, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the kitchen
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely serving of meals and customer satisfaction
- Train new team members in food preparation, safety procedures, and service standards
- Assist in menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and appealing
- Maintain a positive working environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth
Experience
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within hospitality or restaurant settings
- Supervising experience in a culinary setting is highly desirable
- Extensive knowledge of food production, cooking techniques, and presentation skills
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to manage and motivate a diverse team
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
- Experience in food preparation, restaurant service, and customer interaction is advantageous
- Previous experience in hospitality or catering roles will be considered an asset

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
