About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Fire Door Contract Manager to join our growing team. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing fire door installation, maintenance, and remedial projects from inception through to completion, ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will be exceptionally organised, possess outstanding communication and customer service skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where problem-solving and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple fire door projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service throughout every stage of each project.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective solutions before issues arise.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant fire safety regulations, FIRAS standards, and health and safety legislation.
- Carry out site visits, inspections, and quality assurance checks.
- Produce project programmes, reports, documentation, and progress updates.
- Manage budgets, variations, procurement, and project costs.
- Lead by example, maintaining a positive, proactive, and professional approach at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience managing fire door installation and remedial contracts.
- CSCS Black Manager Card (essential).
- FIRAS knowledge and experience (essential).
- Strong knowledge of current fire door regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation and best practice.
- One Trace experience.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Outstanding customer service and client relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Positive, can-do attitude with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications
- SMSTS.
- First Aid at Work.
- NEBOSH or IOSH qualification.
- Experience using project management software and Microsoft Office.
