Experienced Motor Mechanic Required
Position: Motor Mechanic Working Hours: 9am till 6pm Monday – Saturday (Full-Time)
Location: Lye
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Motor Mechanic to join our busy workshop. The successful candidate must be confident in carrying out a wide range of vehicle repairs and servicing, with particular expertise in timing chain and timing belt replacements.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance.
- Replacing and repairing timing chains and timing belts to manufacturer specifications.
- Conducting engine repairs and related mechanical work.
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues.
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a motor mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
- Ability to independently carry out timing chain and timing belt replacements.
- Experience working on petrol and diesel vehicles.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Ability to work well within a team and under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
