A highly regarded and expanding law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor (4+ PQE) to join its successful Property Department in Bedford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and technically strong Residential Property Solicitor to join a well-established team with a strong reputation in the local market, handling a high-quality and varied caseload of residential property matters.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to post-completion, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and referrers.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload from inception through to completion
- Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Advising on remortgages, transfers of equity and equity release matters
- Acting on new build, shared ownership and Help to Buy transactions
- Reviewing title documentation and resolving title issues
- Raising and responding to enquiries throughout the conveyancing process
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, brokers and other solicitors
- Managing exchanges and completions efficiently and proactively
- Maintaining high levels of client care and communication throughout transactions
- Supporting business development initiatives and developing relationships with local referrers and introducers
The Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' PQE in Residential Property
- Proven ability to manage a residential conveyancing caseload independently
- Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of residential property law
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
