We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working person who is willing to learn new skills and have a positive, pro-active approach. Previous experience of pharmaceutical manufacture is not essential, but knowledge and experience of working within a cGMP environment is advantageous.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
· All equipment on site requiring PAT testing is logged and tested for electrical
· Repair minor plumbing issues
· Change and minor repairs to lighting
· Minor joinery work
· Painting areas when required
· Sanitary support for on site toilets, kitchens etc. when issues reported
· Assist warehouse when required
· Drive forklift truck
· Drive reach truck
· Assist IT department when required
· Assist engineers in facilities department when required
· Manage contractors when they are on site
· Order items for the facilities when needed
· Daily checks on BMS for alarms on HVAC plant
· Daily walk round on site checking all plant rooms for any abnormalities
· Weekly checks on emergency showers and eye wash stations
· Weekly checks on toilet showers
· Weekly checks on salt levels for humidification systems
· Weekly Fire Alarm Test
· Monthly checks on fire extinguishers
· Monthly checks on emergency lights
· Monthly checks on cleanroom air pressures
· Monthly readings of all utility meters
· Keep workshop and outside area of workshop clean and tidy

Required Skills:
. Previous experience in a similar role
. Demonstrable abilities gained in one of the following disciplines:
Joinery
Electricial
Plumbing
. Flexible, structured and goal orientated team player
. Reach and Forklift licence
. Good standard of oral and written communications skills
. Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels within the Company
Desired:
. Experience of working in a GMP environment
. Good standard of basic education
Personal Situation
Flexible and able to work extended hours when required.
Computer skills: Must be competent in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word,
e-mail and internet
Literacy and Numeracy: Good standard of basic education
