Halls of Cambridge Ltd are a well-established family run business, trading for over 30 years in and around Cambridge. We have built an excellent reputation as a leading master locksmith, also providing access control and glazing. We provide bespoke installation and renovation services throughout Cambridge.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Locksmith / Carpenter with a focus around lock, door and window installation. We provide all aspects of locksmith services, so a willingness to learn any required new skills will be essential.
The successful candidate will have a strong Locksmithing background, with Carpentry experience. Glazing and window fitting experience is also desirable.
The role will involve installation of domestic and commercial locks, as well as UPVC, composite and timber doors and windows. Also carrying out maintenance work on UPVC, timber and metal doors and windows.
We are looking for someone to come in and hit the ground running, who has confidence in their work and a keen eye for detail.
Typical workday:
- Provided a schedule for when and where you need to be
- Meet and greet our customers on site with smart and professional manner, wearing branded uniform (provided)
- Installing/renovating locks, doors and windows in domestic homes or on commercial sites
- Working independently or as part of a team depending on the project
- Report back to Operations team at Head Office on work complete

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- 8 hour days, 8:30am-5pm with 30mins for lunch
- Full time, Permanent

- Driving License (essential)
