We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to be based at both our Thirsk and Leyburn offices.

Duties
- Provide efficient and professional internal and external telephone services, transferring all calls accordingly.
- Provide Holiday cover and additional support to other departments – customer invoicing and supplier invoice processing
- Process card payments and allocate customer receipts
- Credit checks for new customers
- Manage the accounts inbox
- Bank and card reconciliations
- Payroll Holiday cover (training will be given)
- Internal invoicing and management of system for service centre
- Check Supplier statements and follow up with suppliers as necessary
- Intercompany supplier invoice input and reconciliations
- Completion of new supplier application forms and setting up on SAGE
- Supplier record updates
- Any other tasks as required
Qualifications
- Experience of SAGE Line 50
- Proficient in Microsoft packages
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst ensuring deadlines are adhered to
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Proven experience in a similar Accounts Administrator role is desirable and experience within the Construction sector is preferable
This position will be based across both our Thirsk and Leyburn offices, with the postholder required to work two days per week at one location and three days per week at the other.
Pay: Up to £31,000.00 per year
