Permanent Contract
37 hours per week
Monday – Thursday 07:00-15:00 or 08:00 – 16:00 ; Friday 07:00 -14:30 or 08:00 – 15:30 Start and finish times will vary depending on the needs of the business.
Please note that non-standard working patterns may be required. On occasion, the post-holder will be required to work until 17:00 in order to secure and lock the building.
Salary: £40,444 - £43,150 per annum
The main purpose of the role is:
To work with the Director of Estates, Assets & Operational Services in the effective management of Council facilities, assets, and operational services, ensuring a safe, compliant and efficient working environment for staff, councillors and the local community.
The post-holder will be responsible for managing the maintenance of all Council buildings, facilities and assets, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, codes of practice, regulations and in accordance with best practice.
The role involves working collaboratively with staff, councillors, and contractors, taking responsibility for the effective management of external contractors and oversight of budgets to ensure the provision of a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all users.
