Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including <PERSON> driver trucks, to transport parcels to residential and commercial locations.
- Plan efficient routes to maximize delivery speed while maintaining safety standards.
- Load and unload packages with care, often requiring heavy lifting to handle bulky or heavy items.
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, customers, and team members to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues promptly.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and documentation of all parcels delivered or returned.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting recipients professionally and addressing any questions or concerns with enthusiasm.
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, demonstrating safe driving habits.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and licensing requirements for <PERSON> driver vehicles.
- Warehouse experience is a plus,
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to navigate using GPS devices or maps efficiently in various environments.
