Job Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £35,000 to £42,000 per annum (DOE)
Location: Southampton
Hours: Monday to Friday - 36.25 Hours per week (Hybrid Working 3 days in/2 from home)

The successful candidate will ideally have knowledge of the oil spill industry along with proposal generation/business development experience. Good account management skills are also a must and the successful candidate will have strong planning/organisational skills be organised and proactive, with strong attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities as Tender and Proposal's Executive:
- Lead tender and proposal development by coordinating with customers, proposal teams, and internal stakeholders, including managing contractual negotiations and evaluations.
- Assess bid opportunities and risks to ensure requirements, scope, resources, costs, and delivery implications are fully understood and support informed Bid/No Bid decisions.
- Ensure commercial compliance and viability by preparing accurate costings, managing contractual and payment terms, and meeting organisational and ISO standards.
- Collaborate across departments (Delivery, HR, Tax, Purchasing, etc.) to evaluate operational impacts, confirm resource availability, and support successful contract implementation.
- Drive continuous improvement and business growth through enhancing proposal quality, managing tender documentation and supplier questionnaires, promoting best practices, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Experience required:
- Proposal generation/ business development experience
- Account Management
- Strong commercial and customer focus, with the ability to understand client requirements, provide consultative support, and develop tailored solutions.
- Proven experience in proposal generation, tendering and procurement processes, contract review and negotiation, and broader commercial decision-making.
- Strong financial, project management, communication, and IT skills, including financial appraisal, stakeholder engagement, and effective delivery of business objectives.
