We have an exciting role on offer within our Human Resources Service as a HR Business Partner.
Are you an experienced HR professional looking to make a real impact across a large and diverse organisation?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable HR Business Partner to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to support organisational improvement, workforce transformation and the delivery of excellent HR services across Middlesbrough Council.
Working closely with managers and stakeholders, you will provide expert advice on a wide range of people matters including employee relations, organisational change, trade union consultation, policy development, job evaluation and workforce planning.
You will also play a key role in developing management capability and supporting a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
We're looking for someone with:
Strong HR generalist experience within a complex organisation
Excellent knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
Experience of managing complex employee relations matters
The ability to build effective working relationships and influence at all levels
Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
A commitment to delivering high-quality customer-focused services
A degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) is essential.
CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD accreditation is desirable.
