Care Assistant / Support Worker — Temporary Shifts, North London Care Homes
Prime Staffing Solutions is a director-led care staffing provider supplying experienced care assistants to residential, nursing, extra care and dementia services across North London (Barnet, Enfield, Haringey, Brent, Camden and surrounding areas).
The Role
Temporary shifts in established care homes — days (7am–2pm), lates (2pm–10pm) and nights (10pm–7am). You choose your availability; we match you to shifts.
Pay
£14.80 per hour PAYE (London Living Wage), rising to £14.90 after 200 hours. Weekly pay. No hidden deductions.
Duties
- Personal care and support for elderly residents
- Assistance with mobility and daily living
- Supporting mealtimes
- Accurate care documentation
- Working within each home's care plans and safeguarding procedures
Requirements
- Previous care home or care experience preferred
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- Right to work in the UK
- Two references
- Completion of mandatory training (provided via our training partner): moving & handling, safeguarding adults, basic life support, infection control, fire safety, food safety
