Accounts Senior – Whitehaven£35,000 - £40,000 + Excellent Benefits + Career Progression
Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join a leading national firm of Chartered Accountants in Whitehaven.
This role would suit an ACA / ACCA Qualified, Part-Qualified or Finalist Accountant with previous experience in an accountancy practice.
The Role
- Managing a varied portfolio of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
- Preparing statutory and management accounts
- Preparing corporation tax computations
- Supporting with VAT and general tax compliance
- Liaising directly with clients and providing accounting advice
- Reviewing work and supporting junior team members
The Person
- ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified or finalist
- Previous accountancy practice experience
- Strong accounts preparation and tax knowledge
- Good communication and client management skills
- Experience with accounting software
