As we continue to invest in and expand our operations, we’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Regional Warehouse Manager to join our team in Leeds and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our warehouse operation.
This is a hands-on management role where you’ll organise daily warehouse activities, supervise the team and ensure our stock, deliveries and transport operations run safely and efficiently. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you’ll be a key part of keeping the operation organised, productive and focused on delivering a great service to our customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing the day-to-day warehouse operation and allocating work across the team
- Supervising and supporting warehouse operatives, drivers and fitters
- Coordinating Goods In, Goods Out, stock handling and customer deliveries
- Overseeing loading, dispatch and day-to-day transport activities
- Maintaining accurate stock records, coordinating stock counts and investigating discrepancies
- Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety, housekeeping and safe working practices
- Ensuring routine vehicle, equipment and operational checks are completed
- Supporting employee induction and training
- Identifying practical improvements and working with the Operations Manager to resolve operational issues
About You
We’re looking for someone who is organised, confident managing people and comfortable taking ownership of a busy day-to-day operation.
You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role, ideally within logistics or supply chain
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including Goods In/Out and stock control
- Experience supervising, motivating and developing an operational team
- A good understanding of warehouse Health & Safety and safe working practices
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A practical, hands-on approach and good communication skills
- Counterbalance FLT licence
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 40 hours per week
- Working hours will fall between 07:00 and 18:00, depending on operational requirements
Additional Requirement
- A full UK driving licence is required for this role. Applicants with up to 3 penalty points for an SP30 offence will be considered.
