We are seeking circuit board assembly workshop technicians to join our growing team. We have opportunities for both experienced technicians and trainees. This is an excellent first role within our company. You will learn each process from materials control and production processing, right through to final shipment of product. Many of our senior managers began their careers in this role, and we actively promote from within.
You will receive full training in the skills required to assemble our technical products, working in one of the best-equipped plants in the UK.
Technician Responsibilities
- Work as a member of our experienced production team, reporting to the Production Manager.
- Operate modern equipment including automatic placement and inspection machines, CAM software, hand and mechanical assembly tools, laser cutting machines, and acrylic coating robots.
- Maintain quality standards throughout all stages of production.
- Liaise with management on any reoccurring quality issues and trends.
Technician Requirements
· Enthusiasm to learn modern and progressive techniques.
· Good attention to detail and dexterity.
· Reliable, conscientious, and self‑motivated.
· Able to work effectively as part of a team.
· Computer literate with good verbal and written communication skills.
· Minimum GCSE education (or equivalent).
· Also suitable for degree‑educated candidates from science or engineering backgrounds.
