Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role will support the wider Facilities team to monitor, maintain and improve the safety and quality standards of our site.
Responsibilities:
- Removal of Lab waste- bags, liquid waste, glass bottles & cardboard
- Assisting Facilities engineers Day to Day
- Collection & delivery of Parcels
- Removal of cardboard waste from main office
- PPM daily and weekly readings.
- Assist Facilities engineers with PPM’s and Breakdowns
- General cleaning of building service areas
- Internal cleaning of air handling units
- General PPM’s – Various planned preventive maintenance tasks throughout building and service areas
- Waste management throughout site.
- General handyman repairs
Essential Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Possess a good degree of common sense and problem-solving skills
- Confident working at height in a safe manner
- IPAF/PASMA/Fork truck preferred but training can be given
- GMP experience preferred but training can be given
- Flexible regarding working hours as some weekend working will be required at overtime rates
- Good attention to detail and ability to use their initiative
Enhanced rate overtime also available:
Monday to Saturday - Paid Time and a Half
Sunday and Bank Holidays - Double Pay
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
