We looking for an experienced General Manager. We are professional, supportive, and our goal is to serve Britain's Best Fish and Chips.
The ideal candidate for this position has the ability to learn fast, take initiative and think outside the box. The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a small business from hiring and firing, to inventory and finances, to keeping the shop running smoothly. This position is a fast-paced, demanding job which requires the utmost dedication and flexibility.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Full site accountability for all KPIs
- Creating a strong, positive team culture that delivers exceptional guest experiences
- Leading from the floor during peak service
- Managing labour performance in real time
- Full control of ordering, stock, and cost management
- Hiring, training, and developing your team
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and compliance
- Delivering consistent results across weekly audits and brand standards
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a General Manager in a high-volume hospitality environment
- Strong understanding of labour control, stock management, and P&L performance
- A hands-on leader who is comfortable working the floor during busy services
- Experience hiring, developing, and leading teams
- High standards and attention to detail
- Comfortable using systems and data to drive decisions
- Someone who takes ownership
