Duties
- Offer personalised support to young people , in various settings
- Assist with daily activities, promoting independence and confidence
- Engage in mentoring programmes to encourage positive behaviour and development
- Support educational activities and help with homework or learning tasks
- Foster a safe and welcoming environment for all individuals
- Collaborate with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support plans
- Participate in organising activities that promote social inclusion and well-being
- Maintain accurate records of support provided and progress made
Skills
- Experience or interest in working with children and supporting their development
- Strong mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Teaching abilities to facilitate learning in a supportive manner
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to build trusting relationships
- Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively
- Ability to work flexibly within a team environment while also working independently when required

Pay: £24,420.00-£36,119.58 per year
