Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Domestic Assistant to support the cleanliness and organisation of residential and commercial spaces. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospital or commercial cleaning environments, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas are kept clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors alike.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, and communal areas.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, folding, and storing linens.
- Maintain an organised storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Previous experience in hospital or commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality results.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with residents and team members professionally.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is an advantage.
