Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and reliable Bus Driver to operate passenger vehicles safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, and possess a strong commitment to passenger safety and service. This role involves transporting passengers along designated routes, ensuring punctuality, and maintaining the highest standards of vehicle safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities
- Safely operate buses along specified routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness before each journey
- Excellent customer service
- Ensure the bus is kept clean and well-maintained throughout the shift
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record suitable for commercial driving
- Valid CPC
- Proven experience as a bus driver
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices in passenger transport
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and adhere to schedules
- Good communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings if necessary
- Willingness to undergo background checks and medical examinations in accordance with industry standards
Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
