Overview
We're looking for a self employed Ice Cream Van Driver. We work at events up and down the country, but also work at local town events in the East Midlands Area.
You’ll be responsible for safely driving our ice cream van, setting up and operating the ice cream van, and providing exceptional customer service. If you love engaging with people, have a passion for food, and enjoy a lively work environment, this position is perfect for you!
Duties
- Safely operate and drive the ice cream
- Setting up the van at various locations and serving customers taking card and cash payments
- Prepare and serve soft serve ice cream
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards inside the van, adhering to health regulations at all times
- Perform routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance needs promptly to ensure safety and reliability
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or working in a similar environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper hygiene standards
- Full UK valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is advantageous - must be aged 25+
Pay: £15.00 per hour
