At Destiny Scotland, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional guest experiences across our portfolio of stylish serviced apartments. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join our friendly accounts team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone starting their finance or business career who wants hands-on experience, development opportunities, and exposure to a wide range of accounting processes at a successful, expanding company.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with invoices and credit notes within the accounting system
- Managing the purchasing/billing inbox
- Processing approved purchases and supporting the accounts payable function
- Supporting monthly consumables and inventory stock takes
- Maintaining spreadsheets and following up on findings with relevant team members
- Assisting with cost analysis and monthly reporting
- Utilities management
- Supporting the wider finance team with administrative and operational tasks

You’ll ideally be:
- Friendly, professional, and confident in communicating by phone and email
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy skills
- Organised and able to manage deadlines effectively
- Proactive and able to use your own initiative
- Logical, structured, and process-driven
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office programmes
- Numerate with a willingness to develop finance and accounting skills
- Positive, reliable, and keen to grow within the business
