Role Overview
We are recruiting exceptional bilingual student peer tutors based in the UK to provide private academic support to eager and ready students.
This is a highly personalised tutoring role suited to academically strong university students and recent graduates who can communicate confidently in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
Areas of Support
Tutors may support students preparing for:
* GCSE and IGCSE
* A-Level
* SAT
* ACT
* Mathematics and quantitative reasoning
* English, reading and verbal reasoning
* Sciences, economics and related academic subjects
Candidate Requirements
Applicants should:
* Be fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English
* Be currently studying at, or recently graduated from, a recognised UK university
* Have an excellent academic record
* Be comfortable supporting both verbal and quantitative preparation
* Be able to explain complex concepts clearly in both English and Mandarin
* Be confident teaching reading comprehension, grammar, mathematics, data analysis and problem-solving
* Be familiar with GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, SAT or ACT curricula
* Have a stable internet connection and a professional online teaching environment
Previous tutoring, mentoring or admissions experience is preferred. Suitable candidates without formal tutoring experience may still be considered if they demonstrate exceptional academic ability and communication skills.
Role Details
* Private one-to-one tutoring
* Primarily online, with potential in-person opportunities in the UK

Compensation
* £50–£100 per hour
* Final rate will depend on academic background, subject expertise, examination experience and tutoring track record
