Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Attendant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high standard of service, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is advantageous.
Duties
- Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently and courteously, ensuring all orders are accurate and timely.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen area.
- Take customer orders using POS systems, process payments accurately, and handle cash or card transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, offering recommendations, and upselling menu items where appropriate.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure all health and safety standards are met consistently.
- Support the team during busy periods by assisting with various tasks as needed, including stock replenishment and general organisation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience in culinary roles or kitchen environments is a plus.
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
