We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across at a local commercial premises. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal areas
- utilise appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure surfaces are hygienic and presentable
- Empty bins, dispose of waste responsibly, and replenish consumables such as soap and paper towels
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming as required
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all cleaning activities
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and special requests from clients or supervisors
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Reliability and punctuality are essential qualities for this role
