Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including lorries or vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures
- Plan efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption
- Deliver parcels or goods to multiple locations within specified timeframes
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers as required
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery times or issues
- Ensure the security of goods during transit and handle any delivery discrepancies professionally
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with multi-drop routes
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving or warehouse operations is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple deliveries within tight schedules
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
- Familiarity with GPS devices or route planning software is beneficial

Pay: £27,600.00-£37,400.00 per year
