Our customers range from independent contractors up to blue chip companies. Due to a company restructure a new role within our forthcoming electrical assembly department has been created.
We are recruiting for an Electrical Assembly Assistant to join our future electrical assembly department. You will need to be a hands-on team player with previous experience of supervising a team, preferably within a manufacturing or electrical environment. You must be able to converse at ease with the production team and be able to provide advice in accurate spoken English and possess good working knowledge of health and safety in the working environment. A full driving licence would be preferred.
You Will:
- In the future lead a team of electrical assembly operatives working side by side with the Electrical Design & Rectification Manager.
- Ensure the daily production plan is achieved and communicate and shortfalls or quality problems in a timely manner.
- Assist operational management in achieving performance targets, improve efficiency, labour and waste.
- Actively manage team training to upskill and develop.
This is not an exhaustive list of duties, and you may be required to undertake other reasonable requests at time to time as required by your manager. In addition, you will undertake regular training that the company deems necessary that may assist you to effectively carry out the above responsibilities.
