We are recruiting for Event Safety Supervisors to work at Bramall Lane Stadium on match days.
As a Event Safety Supervisor , you will lead and motivate the Zone Ex team of stewarding and other staff, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all staff and visitors at the stadium.
Shifts on match day commence at 0700 and finish around 2 hours after kick off. This will include weekdays periodically (Tues or Wed typically) but primarily will be weekends (Sat or Sun).
Responsibilities Include
- Working with another supervisor to manage Zone Ex
- Liaise with your counterpart in the Stadium Control Room
- Responding to problems and incidents
- Supporting staff in mentoring and training on their roles and responsibilities
- Liaising with the client’s Safety Officer and attending pre-event briefings
- Leading by example in customer service and professional standards
The ideal candidate
- At least 21 years of age (insurance requirement)
- Reliable, flexible, and committed to working at least 80% of home fixtures (which must include some weekday availability)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Smart, professional appearance
- Previous Event supervisory experience
Essential Skills and experience:
- Good knowledge of typical event structures for command & event management
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Full UK Driving Licence (Manual) held for 1+ years with no more than 6 penalty points
- Clear Criminal Record Check which will enable to obtain Police accreditation under CSAS
We provide all training and license's needed for this role. The role is also suited to Event Management graduates or those wishing to start a career in this sector.
