Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Support Manager to oversee and streamline administrative operations within our organisation. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring smooth workflow and organisation
- Manage and supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support
- Coordinate human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, and staff development programmes
- Utilise QuickBooks for financial record keeping, invoicing, and expense management
- Maintain accurate records of business activities, employee information, and client details
- Foster effective communication within teams and with external stakeholders through professional phone etiquette
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes to facilitate decision-making processes
- Assist in developing organisational policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
- Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, correspondence, and report preparation
Experience
- Proven experience in office administration or organisational support roles
- Supervising or team management experience is essential
- Familiarity with human resources practices and procedures
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in a business support or managerial role will be advantageous
