Sales & Commercial Performance

- Maximise booking value through appropriate upselling of food, drink, packages, upgrades and additional activities.
- Maintain disciplined follow-up so no viable enquiry goes cold, and identify underperformance early with practical actions to improve conversion and revenue.
- Maintain Pipedrive (CRM) as the single source of lead management, ensuring every opportunity is accurately logged with stage, value, next action, notes, follow-up activity and lost reason where applicable.
- Create confirmed bookings in the relevant system, secure deposits, manage invoicing and appropriate debt chasing, escalating issues where necessary.
- Provide a concise monthly sales performance and forecast update covering results, conversion, issues and recommended actions.
Business Development
- Proactively develop new corporate and event business alongside the primarily inbound sales workload using phone, email, LinkedIn and face-to-face activity.
- Build relationships with local businesses and decision-makers, including HR teams, office managers, golf society organisers, funeral directors, hotels and charities.
- Attend relevant expos, chamber and networking events, and re-engage previous society organisers, lapsed customers and past event bookers.
- Work closely with Group Sales & Marketing feeding back lead quality, objections, campaign conversion, competitor activity and customer demand.
- Contribute commercial insight to packages, offers and sales propositions, ensuring marketing-generated leads receive structured follow-up.
