We are currently recruiting a Female Live-in Complex Care Support Worker to support a friendly female client living in the Norwich area.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is compassionate, reliable and committed to delivering exceptional care. Our client enjoys spending time in the community, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.
Please note: This post is open to female applicants only. This is a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, due to the intimate personal care and support required by our female client.
Working Pattern
- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (Live-in)
- This working pattern provides consistency and continuity of care for our client, therefore applicants must be able to commit to this rota.
Key Responsibilities
As a Live-in Complex Care Support Worker, you will:
- Deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care in accordance with the client's care plan.
- Provide personal care with dignity, privacy and respect.
- Support with medication administration following training and competency assessment.
- Assist with daily living activities, including cooking, meal preparation and household tasks.
- Support community access, appointments and social activities.
- Maintain accurate electronic care records and documentation.
- Observe and report any changes in the client's health or wellbeing.
- Report safeguarding concerns promptly and follow company policies and procedures.
- Promote independence, choice and positive outcomes at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the Clinical Nurse Team, Registered Manager and wider multidisciplinary team.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is kind, caring, compassionate and patient.
- Is reliable, professional and committed to delivering high-quality care.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
- Has previous care experience, ideally within complex care (desirable but not essential).
- Can work independently while remaining part of a supportive team.
- Is committed to learning and developing new clinical skills.
Full clinical training will be provided for the successful candidate.
