Our client is a superbly equipped school with amazing facilities for the students to use to enhance their school experience and learning. The school caters for students from 4 - 19 years of age with Profound, Severe and Complex learning needs including Communication and Interaction difficulties. The majority of pupils have learning difficulties associated with Autism, Speech, Language and Communication and, in addition, some pupils have complex medical conditions. The school are very proud of the staff, atmosphere and environment; they have created a great place to work. You will be joining a happy and multi-faceted team.

Role
Learning Support Assistant- Full time, Monday to Friday 8.30-3.30 - Temporary, term time only
Qualities and experience we look for:
- Prior experience working with children or vulnerable adults – perhaps you have worked in schools or a care background before
- Qualifications relating to education or medical/care. This could be a manual handling certificate through to a degree in counselling. If you think it could be relevant, we are interested in speaking to you!
- Had experience with family members who have special education needs or needed special medical support.
- A passion for education and wanting the opportunity to make a real difference to a child’s life.
