This appointment is being raised in order to deliver on the Knowledge Exchange project for an external company based in the UK. A part-time position for 7-month is required to deliver on the project objectives of designing, fabricating and measuring micrometre scale light emitting diodes arrays. The post requires a precise set of skills in micro-fabrication in cleanroom environment covering the process development of laser photolithography, plasma etching and metal deposition by evaporation with additional expertise in optical and electrical device characterisation. Reporting the process and characterisation results to the external partners will also be necessary using the dedicated graphical tools and presentation software.
Initial interviews have been scheduled for early September.
