Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) continuously to identify suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Conduct regular surveillance rounds around the premises to ensure safety and security protocols are maintained.
- Implement loss prevention measures by observing and deterring theft or vandalism.
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, assessing situations calmly and efficiently.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary, following established emergency procedures.
- Maintain detailed logs of surveillance activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes.
- Enforce access control policies by verifying identities and authorizing entry for authorized personnel, visitors, or contractors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to detect anomalies or suspicious behavior quickly.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance technology is a plus.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long periods of static duty.
- Basic first aid certification or willingness to obtain it upon hiring.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with staff and visitors.
- Ability to work independently while following established security protocols.
