Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef / cook to join our children nursery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and meal preparation, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
- Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and dietary requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Experience
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- A passion for cooking and creating exceptional meals that delight guests.
